Baader Filters OIII CMOS f/2 Highspeed 50x50mm

OIII filters selectively pass light with a wavelength of 501 nanometers, corresponding to the spectrum lines of doubly ionized oxygen. These lines are emitted by planetary nebulae and some emission nebulae, allowing these objects to remain visible while other wavelengths are blocked by the filter. This enhances contrast, revealing faint nebulae that may not be visible otherwise.

Astrophotography: These filters are most effective when paired with monochrome cameras. For optimal results, images captured using OIII filters should be combined with those taken using H-alpha and SII filters. This combination produces images that clearly depict faint nebulae with high contrast.
