Baader Filters UHC-L 2"

The Baader UHC-L filter serves as a comprehensive anti-light pollution solution, effectively blocking emissions from LED lamps, particularly in the blue spectrum.

Its dual pass bands enable the transmission of all light emitted by prominent emission nebulae, including the H-alpha and H-beta lines of fluorescent hydrogen, as well as the OIII oxygen line.

In addition to filtering out stray light from LED and traditional street lamps, these filters also mitigate the glare from bluish car headlights. Furthermore, they significantly reduce the impact of the atmosphere's natural night sky glow (airglow/skyglow).
