This 3nm dual-band filter is meticulously crafted to significantly mitigate the impact of light pollution while isolating the emissions from nebulae into H-Alpha (red) and OIII (green-blue) wavelengths. By blocking light pollution and enhancing the signal from nebulae, it effectively darkens the sky background, providing optimal conditions for astrophotography. Moreover, it prevents interference from artificial light sources such as mercury vapor lamps, high and low-pressure sodium vapor lights, and unwanted natural light produced by the emission of neutral oxygen in the atmosphere.
