Celestron Dew Shield 11"

A new protective cap significantly prolongs the time it takes for the front correction plate of Maksutov or Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes to fog up, particularly beneficial on humid European nights when dew formation is common.

This durable aluminum dew shield serves multiple purposes, blocking stray light from the sides while safeguarding the correction plate against accidental contact and scratches. Its interior surface is coated with black velvet for enhanced protection.

The shield securely attaches to the lens tube via clamps and includes its own dust cap for added security. Additionally, it features special openings designed for cable management and the use of heated rings or cameras in primary focus.
