Celestron Focus Motor for SC- and EdgeHD-Telescopes

The Celestron Focus Motor for SCT and EdgeHD facilitates electronic focusing, allowing remote and hands-free observing through computer control or a Celestron computerized mount hand controller.

Self-powering capability is inherent: when linked to a Celestron computerized mount, power is supplied by the mount, while direct connection to a computer utilizes USB for power.

Motor controls offer various speed rates, automatic GoTo indexed focuser positioning, and backlash compensation. Accompanied by Focuser Utility software for Windows, it boasts an intuitive user interface and compatibility with Celestron PWI. Moreover, it enables autofocusing with cameras and third-party software via ASCOM.

Its indexed focus position feature permits automatic return to a previous focus position and prevents the motor from reaching the telescope's mechanical focus travel limit.

Compatibility spans all SCTs produced post-2006, excluding the 5" SCT, alongside all EdgeHD, RASA 800, RASA 1100, and Mak 700 models. Celestron provides a specialized adapter, the Celestron Focuser Retrofit Kit for RASA 1100, for compatibility with the RASA 1100.
