Featuring a large, clear target display, this collimator simplifies alignment diagnostics, ensuring accuracy without guesswork.

No Star? No Problem!

Traditional star collimation demands optimal observing conditions, including clear skies, stable temperatures, and suitable star visibility. Adjusting collimation involves tedious back-and-forth between the telescope's front and back, relying on unstable, defocused star images for reference. Artificial stars, while attempting to simulate real stars, cannot replicate true collimation conditions. Moreover, readjusting focus after artificial star collimation can introduce errors due to mechanical tolerances and mirror-flop.

The Advanced CT Laser Collimator eliminates these challenges by providing a clear visual cue with three laser dots projected onto a target. This allows precise axial alignment diagnostics without major focusing adjustments, saving valuable observing time and minimizing errors.

Collimate Within Telescope's Focal Distance

Unlike traditional collimation methods requiring long focal distances, our collimator utilizes a flat mirror at the focal point to double-pass both primary and secondary mirrors, magnifying alignment errors to a higher accuracy level. This near-field alignment process significantly reduces collimation distance, ensuring convenience and accuracy.
