Celestron Reducer 0.7x EdgeHD 800

This reducer maintains optical integrity while also providing ample back focus for various photographic equipment, unlike standard universal reducers.

Featuring lenses with extreme refractive indices, including lanthanum lenses with minimal dispersion, the 0.7X EdgeHD reducer preserves the exceptional contrast characteristic of Edge HD optics. Despite the additional lenses in the light path, there is no chromatic aberration over a broad spectral range.

Each glass/air surface in this lens system is multi-coated to maximize light transmission and color fidelity. Furthermore, meticulous blackening of all lens edges effectively suppresses internal reflections.

The carefully CNC-machined aluminum housing ensures precise spacing and correct alignment of the lenses. Additionally, a metal screw cap is provided to protect the Edge-HD reducer from dust and damage when not in use.
