However, with the new Omegon Field Flattener, you can now produce astronomy photos with pristine, sharp stars extending right to the outer edges of your images.

Controlling Field Curvature:

Field curvature, a common optical defect, may not be noticeable during visual observation or with small-chip photography. However, when using large chips or full-frame cameras, this defect becomes evident. While cropping images can mitigate blurred outer regions, employing a field flattener presents a more elegant solution, especially when using expensive cameras with large format chips.
