In the realm of astrophotography, achieving accurate focus is paramount, but the Omegon flip mirror simplifies this task by enabling you to pinpoint both the exact focus point and the correct positioning for your astronomy photographs with ease.

This compact black box features a movable flip mirror that redirects the light path either 90° upwards or allows it to pass through unhindered, facilitating the simultaneous attachment of both a camera and an eyepiece to your telescope. This eliminates the need for lengthy focusing procedures with CCD cameras, allowing for quick focusing within seconds once the eyepiece and camera are aligned.

Maintaining Sharpness:

By tilting the mirror to the 45° position, objects can be viewed through the eyepiece for precise focusing as usual. The helical focuser on the flip mirror ensures that the eyepiece and camera are precisely parfocal, ensuring both elements are in focus simultaneously.

Enhanced Precision:

Additionally, the Omegon flip mirror ensures that objects accurately centered in the eyepiece are simultaneously centered in the camera's field of view, eliminating concerns about object positioning on the chip.

Connectivity:

Featuring a 1.25” connector compatible with standard telescopes and a helical focuser accepting standard 1.25“ eyepieces, the Omegon flip mirror ensures seamless compatibility. Furthermore, a T-2 thread on the camera side provides universal compatibility with all cameras.

Please Note: Flip mirrors are not suitable for use with Newtonian telescopes due to potential focal point obstruction. However, they are compatible with refractors or catadioptric systems such as SCs, ACFs, and Maksutovs.
