Description
Many H-Alpha imaging setups encounter issues like Newton Rings or interference fringes due to flat optical surfaces within the imaging train. However, by positioning the camera at an angle to the optical axis, these interference patterns can be effectively eliminated.
The tilt adaptor features a unique spherical joint between its two flanges, preventing unwanted light from entering the optical path, unlike conventional two-flange adaptors. Moreover, the joint's center of rotation is strategically positioned near the surface of the chip, ensuring that the camera remains at or very close to the optical center even when tilted.
This versatile adaptor allows for tilt adjustments ranging from 0 to 8 degrees.
