Seymour Solar Filters Helios Solar Glass with camera thread 95mm

This top-tier solar filter ensures safe observation and photography of the sun. Easily slip it onto telescopes, spotting scopes, cameras, or any optical device. Featuring Helios Solar Glass®, it boasts a Neutral Density 5 rating, effectively blocking 99.999% of all light, including harmful IR and UV rays.

Crafted by Seymour Solar, the glass is mounted into an aluminum ring, seamlessly fitting over the sky end of your optical tube. Secure and center the filter using nylon thumb screws and felt tabs for filters ranging from 2" to 4", or three nylon thumb screws for Solar Filters 4.25" to 16". Comprehensive instructions ensure proper use and care, guaranteeing a long filter life. When correctly utilized, the filter provides a natural yellow-orange image of the sun, revealing solar granulation (sun's photosphere), sunspots, planet transits, and even a solar eclipse when present.
