Prepared Microscope Slides

The foundation of our program consists of the A, B, C, and D series, totaling 175 microscope slides. These series are meticulously arranged to systematically build upon one another, each expanding on the subject matter of the previous one. They encompass slides featuring typical micro-organisms, cell division, embryonic developments, as well as tissues and organs from plants, animals, and humans. Every slide is thoughtfully selected for its instructional value.

Crafted in our laboratories under strict scientific control, LIEDER prepared microscope slides reflect our extensive experience in all aspects of preparation techniques. Highly skilled staff cut microtome sections, adjusting cutting techniques and section thickness to suit each object. From a multitude of staining techniques available, we choose those that ensure clear differentiation of important structures combined with lasting staining. Typically, these are intricate multicolor stainings. LIEDER prepared microscope slides are delivered on high-quality glass with ground edges, measuring 26 x 76 mm (1 x 3 inches).

Each prepared microscope slide is unique and individually crafted by our well-trained technicians under rigorous scientific supervision. Therefore, we wish to highlight that delivered products may vary from the pictures in this catalog due to natural variations in basic raw materials and applied preparation and staining methods.

The number of series available should roughly match the number of microscopes to allow multiple students to examine the same prepared microscope slides concurrently. For this reason, slides from each series can be ordered individually. Thus, important microscope slides can be provided for all students.
