The NexStar SLT series offers computerized GoTo telescopes with a multilingual menu and an extensive celestial database, providing exceptional value and user-friendly features. The pre-assembled, ready-to-use tripod and quick-release couplings for the fork mount and optical tube assembly (OTA) allow setup in minutes without requiring tools.

Intelligent Design

The system operates via precision servo motors and electronic position encoders, powered by 8 AA batteries, a 12V/2A power supply, a power tank, or a car battery cable. The NexStar hand controller, which is Internet-upgradable, provides access to over 4,000 objects at the press of a button.

Revolutionary SkyAlign Technology

With SkyAlign, users don’t need prior knowledge of star positions or names. Simply input the date, time, and location, then align the telescope to any three bright celestial objects. The system calculates the position of visible celestial objects within seconds. For solar system alignment, the Sun can be used as a reference (only with an appropriate solar filter), allowing for daytime observation of planets and brighter stars—an excellent feature for educational purposes.
