The APM 70mm Magnesium ED APO Binocular with Nitrogen Fill is an excellent choice for amateur astronomers and nature enthusiasts alike. These binoculars feature oversized 70 mm optics, perfect for observing celestial wonders like comets, galaxies, and star clusters, or for enjoying detailed nature observations during the day. Lightweight and portable, they are easy to take on trips and can be used with or without a tripod.
The optics are the highlight of these binoculars. Using high-quality ED (FK61) glass and BAK-4 prisms, they deliver sharp, high-contrast images with true-to-life color across the entire field of view. Fully multi-coated lenses enhance light transmission for exceptional clarity. With an IPX-7 water protection rating, they can withstand submersion in up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes, ensuring durability in wet conditions.
The magnesium body is lightweight yet strong, with rubber armoring for added protection and a slip-resistant grip. Each eyepiece can be individually focused for precise adjustments, and the binoculars include a tripod adapter port for stable mounting. Comfortable eye relief makes them suitable for eyeglass wearers by simply folding down the rubber eyecups.
