Description

The Messier series by Bresser provides telescopes that offer excellent performance at an affordable price, making them ideal for ambitious beginners. These telescopes are designed to be expandable and retrofittable, allowing them to remain useful as users progress in their astronomy journey.

Maksutov Telescopes
Maksutov telescopes are compact and highly portable, making them perfect for travel or on-the-go observations. Their enclosed optics and collimation stability ensure durability and robustness.

Despite their compact design, Maksutov telescopes feature a long focal length. However, their field of view is narrower compared to achromatic refractors, making them ideal instruments for observing the Moon and planets. When equipped with an Amici prism, they are also excellent for nature observation and photography.

This telescope is now equipped with the improved Hexafoc focuser, which has a free aperture of 65 mm. For astrophotography, it can be upgraded with a 1:10 reduction ratio fine focuser (available as an accessory) for precise focus adjustments.

Bresser EXOS-1 Mount
The EXOS-1 mount is designed for smaller optics and can support up to 7 kg without vibration or instability. It provides a stable platform for precise observations and can be optionally upgraded with a motor for the RA-axis to enhance tracking capabilities.

Included with the Mount:

  • Sturdy equatorial mount

  • Counterweight included

  • Robust steel tripod with three legs
