PegasusAstro Motor Focus Kit v2 Celestron SCT (C11) (63048)

This kit features a high-resolution geared box with a step size of 0.06 degrees, capable of lifting more than 6 kg per centimeter. The high torque design is ideal for supporting heavy imaging equipment. The motor’s gearbox has very low backlash, which can be further adjusted using backlash compensation in your imaging software. The RJ45 socket pinout can be easily converted to work with Moonlite and Robofocus controllers.

The pulley and belt system keeps the motor away from your filter wheel, preventing any collision when using a focal reducer. The specially designed bracket fits all Celestron SCT models.

The kit includes:

• High-resolution geared stepper motor (Step Angle 7.5°, 120°, Gear Ratio 1:120)

• Blue anodized aluminum bracket for Celestron SCT telescopes

• 20 cm 2GT timing belt

• 13 mm 2GT pulley (for 6”, 8”, 9.25” models) or 22 mm 2GT pulley (for 11”, 14” models)

• Bolts

Please note: A stepper controller is required to operate the motor. PegasusAstro recommends the Dual Motor Focus Controller DMFC. Alternatively, you can use the PegasusAstro Ultimate Powerbox v2 Hub, but you will need an additional RJ45 to RJ45 cable.
