PegasusAstro Motor Focus Kit v2 Celestron SCT (C6, C8, C9.25) (63046)

This kit features a high-resolution geared motor with a 0.06-degree step size, capable of lifting more than 6 kg per centimeter. The high torque is ideal for supporting heavy imaging equipment. The motor’s gearbox is designed with low backlash, which can be easily adjusted using backlash compensation in your imaging software. The RJ45 socket pinout can be adapted for use with Moonlite and Robofocus controllers.

The pulley and belt design keeps the motor positioned away from your filter wheel, preventing any collisions when using a focal reducer. The bracket is engineered to fit all Celestron SCT models.

Please note:
A stepper controller is required to operate the motor. PegasusAstro recommends the Dual Motor Focus Controller DMFC. Alternatively, you can use the PegasusAstro Ultimate Powerbox v2 Hub, but an extra RJ45 to RJ45 cable is needed.
