A coma corrector is an optical accessory designed for Newtonian telescopes to eliminate image distortion at the edge of the field, where stars can appear stretched or comet-shaped due to an aberration called "coma." The TS Optics Coma Corrector Newtonian 1.0x Riccardi Design 3" is a high-end corrector created by renowned optics designer Massimo Riccardi. This corrector is optimized for Newtonian telescopes with focal ratios from f/3 to f/6 and provides excellent illumination and correction for full-frame sensors. Its short design and large working distance make it suitable for both imaging and visual use, while the M68 ZEISS-level threaded connection offers versatility for various adapters.
