Description

The Honders Advanced Catadioptric (HAC125DX) Minigraph is a compact, high-performance astrograph designed for fast, wide-field astrophotography. It is the smallest and fastest astrograph of its kind, featuring an innovative optical design that combines refractive and reflective elements to achieve exceptional sharpness and light-gathering efficiency.

Revolutionary optical performance
The HAC125DX utilizes the Honders Advanced Catadioptric optical system, which merges refractive and reflective technologies to create a highly efficient and portable imaging instrument. With an impressive f/2 focal ratio, this telescope captures light five times faster than standard f/4.9 optics, enabling shorter exposure times and greater imaging productivity without the need for autoguiding.

Enhanced focusing and versatility
Compared to the original HAC125, the HAC125DX features an improved rear focusing mechanism on the primary mirror, allowing for easier and more precise focusing while accommodating a broader range of cameras. The 16 mm fully corrected image circle makes it perfectly suited for sensors such as the Sony IMX533 and IMX585.

Compact yet powerful design
Despite its small size—only 400 mm in length and weighing 3.82 kg—the HAC125DX offers impressive imaging capabilities. Its mangin-type primary mirror, integrated corrector, and quartz-coated aluminum surfaces ensure high-quality, distortion-free images across the entire field.

A true grab-and-go astrograph
The HAC125DX is designed for portability and speed, making it an ideal choice for astrophotographers who want to set up quickly and start imaging right away. Attach it to your favorite lightweight mount, and you’ll be ready to capture nebulae, galaxies, and planetary details in minutes. It’s not just another astrograph—it’s a Minigraph, built for adventure and exploration under the night sky.

The Sky-Watcher HAC125DX Minigraph combines speed, precision, and portability in a compact design that empowers advanced astrophotographers to capture more detail in less time—making it the ultimate tool for high-speed, wide-field imaging anywhere under the stars.
