The Sigma BF Mirrorless Camera is a 24.6MP full-frame L-mount camera designed to make image-making as intuitive and direct as possible. With a clean, minimal interface, hybrid autofocus, and 6K video recording, it combines high-end performance with a radically simplified user experience.

Streamlined, Intuitive Design
The Sigma BF rethinks the mirrorless camera from the ground up. Every element—from the body shape to the on-screen interface—is designed to remove friction between the photographer and the subject, helping you stay focused on what’s happening in front of the lens.

Refined User Interface
The main control center is the live-view rear touchscreen. Exposure settings such as shutter speed, aperture, ISO, exposure compensation, and color mode are clearly laid out for quick adjustment. Live-view itself is kept clean and uncluttered so you can concentrate on your composition. A small status display above the rear dial pad shows key active settings at a glance, while all additional options and deeper configuration are organized into just three simple menu screens.

Minimal Physical Controls
The physical design is deliberately reduced to just three primary controls: a dial, a shutter release, and a power button, with a rear dial pad providing navigation and additional input. All buttons and dials use pressure-sensitive, haptic feedback to provide a tactile, responsive feel.

The camera’s unibody construction is milled from a single block of aluminum, giving it a solid, premium feel and even weight distribution. A subtle thumb grip in the upper right corner improves handling without spoiling the sleek silhouette.

Imaging Performance
At the heart of the Sigma BF is a 24.6MP backside-illuminated full-frame CMOS sensor:

• Sensor size: 36 x 24 mm

• Dynamic range is wide, supporting detailed highlights and shadows.

• Native ISO range spans 100–102400, with an extended low setting equivalent to ISO 6 for creative control in bright conditions.

• Continuous shooting is available at up to 8 fps.

• Still images are saved as 14-bit DNG RAW files and JPEGs.

Hybrid autofocus combines phase detection and contrast detection to ensure fast, accurate focusing in a range of lighting conditions. AF modes include single, continuous, and full-time servo autofocus, along with manual focus. Remote shutter control is possible using the optional CR-51 cable release.

Generous Internal Storage
The camera includes 230 GB of internal memory, removing the need for separate memory cards:

• Around 4,300 uncompressed RAW files

• Up to 2.5 hours of recorded video

A USB-C port supports 10 Gb/s data transfer speeds for quickly offloading files to external storage or a computer.

On a full battery, the camera can record continuously for approximately one hour. A built-in top-mounted stereo microphone records clean audio, and the USB-C terminal can also output video for webcam use. Support for external microphones or headphones is offered via USB-C with compatible adapters, even though there are no dedicated 3.5 mm jacks.

L-Mount System Compatibility
As part of the L-Mount Alliance, the Sigma BF uses an L-mount lens interface, giving you access to a wide range of full-frame lenses from Sigma, Panasonic, and Leica.
