The Sigma fp is a full-frame mirrorless camera that delivers high-end still and video performance in a remarkably compact body weighing under one pound. It uses a 24.6MP back-illuminated Bayer CMOS sensor with 14-bit color depth, digital image stabilization for video, and Leica’s L-mount lens interface. The camera’s fully electronic shutter provides silent, vibration-free operation and allows capture of raw and JPEG images at up to 6000 x 4000 resolution. Continuous shooting is possible at up to 18 fps. 

The Sigma fp is equipped with a back-illuminated 35mm full-frame Bayer sensor with 24.6 effective megapixels, allowing it to capture high-resolution stills and video with excellent detail and tonal range. The camera’s front and rear panels are made from die-cast aluminum, providing a strong, durable structure while helping to dissipate heat efficiently. This design keeps the overall weight low without sacrificing toughness. Inspired by professional cinema cameras, a large heat sink is installed between the LCD and the camera body.

The Sigma fp L is built around a 61MP full-frame backside-illuminated CMOS sensor (effective 61MP, 9520 x 6328), delivering extremely detailed still images and high-quality video. The BSI design improves light gathering, reduces noise, and maintains accurate color and smooth tones, even in low-light conditions. Native ISO sensitivity runs from 100 to 25,600, with an extended range of ISO 6 to 102,400 to suit a wide variety of shooting environments. Continuing the fp series’ modular philosophy, the fp L keeps the same compact, rectangular body that is easy to adapt into rigs for cinema use or keep stripped-down for travel and everyday photography.
