This set includes the PegasusAstro Mount NYX-88 Harmonic and the PegasusAstro Saddle Powerbox NYX-101.

Named after the ancient Greek goddess of the night, the NYX-88 is a powerful equatorial mount featuring Harmonic Drive (Strainwave) technology. It supports a payload of up to 14 kg without requiring a counterweight. The Harmonic Drive system delivers high torque and exceptionally smooth operation, ensuring stable tracking performance.

The mount is constructed from fully CNC-machined aluminium alloy with a black and blue anodised finish. High-quality internal components, including stepper motors and wave gear mechanisms, are designed for reliable, long-term performance.

An integrated emergency power shut-off protects the mount in the event of accidental power loss. The system operates on 12 volts and includes connection ports on the fixed part of the mount, along with internal cable management to prevent cable tangling during use.

Additional features include a built-in temperature and humidity sensor, a dual Losmandy and Vixen saddle plate for flexible mounting compatibility, and an ST-4 autoguiding port. The included Saddle Powerbox NYX-101 enhances connectivity and power distribution.
