Description

ZEISS Camera Axiocam 705 Mono R2 (D), 5 MP, Monochrome, CMOS, 2/3", USB 3.0, 3.45 µm, 60 fps (78512 / 426560-9061-000)

ZEISS Axiocam Family – Optimized for Scientific Microscopy

ZEISS microscope cameras are specifically engineered for scientific research, laboratory documentation, and advanced imaging applications. Unlike conventional digital cameras, these models are tailored to meet demanding microscopy requirements. Sensor size, pixel dimensions, and resolution options are carefully selected to balance sensitivity, spatial resolution, and frame rate performance.

ZEISS Axiocam 705 Mono R2 – High-Resolution, High-Speed Imaging

The Axiocam 705 mono R2 is a 5-megapixel monochrome CMOS camera designed for fast and highly sensitive imaging. It is particularly suitable for fluorescence microscopy and time-lapse experiments involving dynamic processes. The camera delivers more than 60 frames per second at full 5-megapixel resolution. By reducing resolution or using subsampling and binning, frame rates can reach several hundred frames per second.

Hardware triggering enables precise timing control for demanding multidimensional imaging experiments. Active sensor temperature stabilization and low readout noise make the camera ideal for capturing faint fluorescence signals and sensitive samples. Analogue pixel binning and adjustable signal amplification further enhance sensitivity. With quantum efficiency up to 72% and spectral sensitivity extending from ultraviolet to near-infrared light, the camera supports advanced fluorescence applications.
