Sky-Watcher 80/600 APO ED Evostar with SynScan HEQ5 PRO Mount
The Sky-Watcher 80/600 APO ED Evostar is an expertly designed apochromatic optical tube that stands out for its superior optical quality. It utilizes premium low-dispersion ED (FPL-53) glass, sourced from the prestigious Schott AG, a leader in optical glass production. This ensures world-class optics, often compared to those of Japanese brands, but at a more accessible price point.
To maximize optical performance, each glass-air surface is treated with Metallic High-Transmission Coating (MHC), achieving an impressive efficiency of 99.5% per surface.
Key Features:
- Crayford focuser with a 1:10 microfocus ratio
- Includes a high-quality 2" dielectric 90° angle mirror with 98% efficiency
- Comes with a 2" focal-length 28mm eyepiece
- Equipped with a 9x50 finder scope with crosshair and bracket
- Includes a dovetail saddle for easy mounting
This telescope is ideal for planetary observation, astrophotography, and general skywatching due to its outstanding optics.
Note: The new kit version includes a straight 9x50 finder scope. A field flattener is not included.
