Alternative: Line filters with a 12nm full width at half maximum are particularly useful for DSLRs or CCD cameras with higher dark current. They are also ideal for cameras with built-in guiding chips, as the wider bandpass typically doubles the number of visible stars in the image compared to narrower filters, improving guiding accuracy and imaging efficiency.
