Rainbow Astro Mount RST-135E (70611)

The Rainbow Astro Mount RST-135E is a high-performance, portable mount designed for ease of use and reliability, even when the load is not perfectly balanced. Unlike traditional worm gear mounts, the RST-135E uses a strain wave gear (harmonic drive) system, which eliminates backlash, requires no maintenance, and is extremely durable thanks to its use in industrial robotics. The mount is crafted from CNC-machined aluminum alloy AL6061, making it lightweight, compact, and exceptionally rigid, with a visually appealing machined finish.

Built-in WiFi allows for wireless control via the SkySafari app on your smartphone, and the mount is compatible with ASCOM drivers over WiFi or USB. It also features a built-in GPS receiver for automatic and accurate entry of observer location and time. The mount supports wireless GoTo and AutoGuide functions, and is equipped with high-precision servomotors and an integrated encoder for accurate tracking.
