The STC Infrared Clip-Filter 720nm for Sony cameras is designed to block all visible light and allow only infrared wavelengths above 720 nm to pass through. This filter is intended solely for photographic use, as infrared light is invisible to the human eye. IR Pass filters are especially valuable in astrophotography at high magnification, since atmospheric turbulence is less pronounced in the infrared spectrum, allowing for the capture of finer details-such as sharp images of Mars or the Moon.

The STC Infrared Clip-Filter 720nm for Sony cameras is designed to block all visible light and allow only infrared wavelengths above 720 nm to pass through. This filter is intended solely for photographic use, as infrared light is invisible to the human eye. IR Pass filters are especially valuable in astrophotography at high magnification, since atmospheric turbulence is less pronounced in the infrared spectrum, allowing for the capture of finer details-such as sharp images of Mars or the Moon. For proper use, a camera sensitive to infrared light is required; typically, monochrome cameras are suitable, while most color cameras do not work well with IR Pass filters.
