High-Resolution Observation: The AP 130/900 can split double stars and reveal fine details on the Moon and planets.
Deep Sky Observations: The 130 mm unobstructed aperture and high-contrast, color-corrected optics make it enjoyable to observe nebulae, star clusters, and galaxies. Stars appear sharp and pinpoint.
High-Magnification Photography: Using a quality 4x Barlow lens, you can capture the Moon and planets with remarkable detail.
Deep Sky Photography: When paired with a flattener or reducer, this telescope provides excellent results for deep sky imaging due to its high color correction.
The large drawtube fully illuminates full-frame cameras and allows for precise focusing with a 1:10 fine adjustment. The integrated field rotator enables you to rotate your camera to the desired position for the best framing. The focuser accepts 2-inch accessories with a self-centering locking system, and the same system is used for the 1.25-inch adapter, ensuring accessories are always centered, even when wearing gloves.
The redesigned tube rings are compatible with both Vixen and Losmandy-style dovetail rails. A comfortable carrying handle is mounted above the rings, making it easy to carry and providing a place to attach additional accessories such as guidescopes.
All OWL series apochromats come with an interferometric measurement log, guaranteeing a Strehl value of at least 0.95.
A sturdy carrying case is included.
