The compact BV-1 fluid video head from Leofoto is designed for demanding birdwatchers and nature filmmakers who need a lightweight and user-friendly tripod head. This fluid-damped head features a 360° rotating panorama plate for smooth horizontal movement.

The BV-1 is compatible with any tripod using a 3/8-inch screw, making it ideal for compact tripods, including those with a leveling base (half shell). The control arm allows for easy tracking of moving subjects and enables smooth, controlled camera movements.

Constructed from aircraft-grade aluminium and finished with black anodizing, the BV-1 is built for lasting durability. Leofoto uses high-quality 6061-T6 aluminium alloy, enhanced with magnesium and silicon for added strength and toughness. This corrosion-resistant material has a yield strength similar to structural steel. All parts are CNC-milled from solid material, making them significantly more stable than cast components.
