It sets a new standard for image quality in its class, thanks to its objective lens made of FPL53 "extra-low dispersion" glass from Ohara, Japan. This high-quality apochromatic glass and the f/7 aperture ratio enable nearly color-free imaging. The doublet lens design also ensures faster cooling.
