The eyepiece is installed in place of a standard 10× eyepiece. In binocular or trinocular microscopes, a matching eyepiece without a pointer should be installed in the second eyepiece tube to ensure comfortable observation.

The eyepiece is compatible with microscopes equipped with a 30 mm eyepiece tube, allowing use across a wide range of instruments.
