It is a good idea to have a spare battery specially when travelling to remote areas to stay connected for longer periods of time or in case of failure of your actual battery, this item gives you 2 hours transmition time and 36 hours standby time.

This is a replacement battery as originally supplied with the Cobham Thrane Explorer 700 factory pack.
