Located at a sweet spot in terms of resolution, the 24.2MP APS-C CMOS sensor strikes a great balance of resolution, file size, speed, and low-light performance. This sensor is suitable for general photographic tasks along with 4K UHD recording, as the file sizes are manageable enough to allow for fast continuous shooting and extended video recording.

DIGIC X processor

Borrowed from the R3, the R10 sports a DIGIC X image processor to perform a variety of high-speed tasks, ranging from continuous shooting to high-resolution video recording. In terms of high-speed shooting, the R10 supports continuous shooting up to 23fps with a silent electronic shutter or 15fps with a mechanical shutter, with AF and AE readings before each frame. The processor also helps realize a wide sensitivity range from ISO 100-32000, which is expandable up to ISO 51200 for working in difficult lighting conditions.

Meet all your needs with lightweight optics with the Canon RF-S 18-150mm f / 4.5-6.3 IS STM lens. Designed to be a complete lens for Canon APS-C R series mirrorless cameras, it will offer an equivalent zoom range of 29-240mm covering perspectives from wide angle to telephoto. The 18-150mm uses one UD element along with two aspherical elements to create aberration-free images. A Super Spectra coating further helps by minimizing ghosting and flare.

Users will be able to use a customizable control ring for manual focus or a programmable setting. Autofocus is smooth and quiet - great for stills and videos - thanks to a lead screw STM stepper AF motor. Additionally, the lens features an Optical Image Stabilizer that will compensate for up to 4.5 stops of camera shake or up to 6.5 stops with coordinated IS when paired with a compatible camera.
