The Panasonic Lumix BS1H Full-Frame Box-Style Live & Cinema Camera is a compact and versatile modular digital cinema camera suitable for cine drones, remote setups, and multi-camera broadcast work. Despite its small form-factor, it houses a full-frame 24.2MP sensor with a Leica L lens mount, offering a wide dynamic range of 14+ stops for seamless adaptation to extreme lighting conditions when recording in V-Log.

This camera supports resolutions up to 5.9K, including C4K (4096 x 2160) and UHD4K, while incorporating VariCam Look workflows. Featuring dual-native ISO through its Venus Engine, anamorphic support, and advanced autofocus, it delivers professional-grade imagery with vivid colors thanks to HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma) color support, facilitating smooth color grading.

With multiple recording options, including ALL-Intra and LongGOP formats in H.264 and H.265/HEVC codecs, the BS1H ensures high data rate files capture. It enables unlimited recording time and records 10-bit 4:2:2 video onto dual SD card slots. HDMI 2.0 output allows up to 4K resolution output, while SDI output supports up to 1080p resolution. Simultaneous HDMI and SDI output capabilities facilitate monitoring and recording simultaneously.

The camera's versatility extends to multi-camera setups, boasting timecode and genlock BNC ports for easy synchronization with other cameras. Its RJ45 Gigabit LAN port enables synchronization with networked BS1H cameras, firmware updates, and direct IP streaming. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth functionalities allow convenient monitoring, configuration, and control via the LUMIX Sync app.

Equipped with a USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C input for control via the LUMIX Tether app, the BS1H enables still image capture and control of up to 12 cameras simultaneously. Audio features include high-grade 48 kHz/24-bit LPCM format, an integrated stereo microphone, and versatile input/output options. Its compact design, internal fan for cooling, and robust construction make it suitable for use on gimbals or drones. Additionally, it offers multiple mounting options and power sources for enhanced flexibility in various shooting environments.
