The Duo Azzurro globe captivates with its lustrous blue continent vignetting and deep blue oceans. When unlit, it displays a political map, while illuminated, it transforms into a physical map showcasing additional surface structures on land and beneath the oceans.

This series of globes earned the Berlin ITB Book Award in 2016 for its innovative design and functionality.

When the Duo Azzurro globe is turned off, the oceans appear in a rich, deep blue. Upon illumination, the ocean floor's structure becomes visible, revealing fascinating details such as volcanoes, sea basins, and trenches.

The continents are bordered by a striking blue vignetting that enhances the globe’s aesthetic appeal. This effect is also applied to land areas. When illuminated, the surface structure of mountains and valleys emerges, adding depth and detail to the globe’s design.
