Craftsmanship Excellence

Columbus strives to create an incredibly deep and flawless shine for their globes. The process begins in their advanced 'clean printing room,' where only superior acrylic sheets are used to avoid contamination from paper dust particles. Up to 24 successive layers of color are printed, with curing, inspection, and cleaning performed between each layer. After printing, a high-gloss clear coat is applied over the entire map for added brilliance before final inspection by the cartographic department.
