Description
The GSO N-203/1000 M-CRF OTA is a fully equipped optical tube designed for the Newtonian system. With a main mirror diameter of 203mm and a focal length of 1000mm, this versatile astronomical instrument allows for advanced visual observations and astrophotography. It features a 2-inch focuser with a 1.25-inch microfitter 10:1 reduction, enabling the use of various eyepiece standards and precise focusing.
The observation capabilities of this optical tube are extensive, ranging from objects within the Solar System such as the Moon, planets, asteroids, and comets, to a wide array of nebulae. It encompasses several thousand nebular objects, including all items in the Messier catalog and a significant portion of the NGC catalog.
The optical tube can be mounted on any assembly with a stiffness class of EQ-5 or higher, such as HEQ5 or EQ6, with or without GOTO functionality, using the standard dovetail link in the Vixen/Sky-Watcher/Meade standard.
