Description

The Messier MC-152/1900 is a mobile telescope that offers exceptional image quality and a large focal length, allowing for highly magnified views. It is an excellent choice for astronomy enthusiasts who are interested in more than just observing the moon and planets. With its 152 mm diameter and universal construction, which combines the advantages of both reflectors and refractors, this telescope is also ideal for observing distant objects with low brightness and for astrophotography.

With the Messier MC-152/1900, you can explore fascinating celestial sights such as the Crab Nebula, which formed after a massive stellar explosion in 1054 in the constellation of Taurus. Additionally, you can observe the magnificent Orion Nebula, the stunning Whirlpool Galaxy near the Big Dipper, or the Dumbbell Nebula in the constellation of Liska. Telescopes equipped with this optical system are also successfully used for ground-based observations and as photographic lenses. The superior design of the Maksutov-Cassegrain optical system ensures sharp, clear, high-contrast images with a wide field of view. The telescope's optical system consists of a spherical mirror with a meniscus lens and a secondary mirror placed on the inner part of the meniscus, which directs the image to the eyepiece. The telescope minimizes coma and chromatic aberration, providing exceptional image quality.

The closed tube construction of the telescope reduces air currents and protects the mirror from dust, ensuring optimal focus and image quality. This telescope is versatile and can be used with various types of mount assemblies, including both parallax and azimuthal setups, as it can be adapted to different weights.

The Messier MC-152/1900 comes equipped with the Hexfoc eyepiece extractor. The extractor features a hexagonal profile with a diameter of 2.5 inches, eliminating unintentional displacement of the extraction sleeve, especially when heavy accessories are installed. The extractor incorporates control modules that correct possible sleeve displacement and allow for precise positioning. These design features result in smooth and precise focusing, ensuring stability even when using heavy cameras and accessories. The large 2.5-inch diameter of the extractor significantly reduces vignetting.

Furthermore, the extractor can be extended with a 10:1 precision focusing module, enabling even more precise adjustments for optimal viewing and astrophotography.
