Exceptional Optical Performance
At its core, the Fluorostar 156 features an apochromatic triplet optical system, utilizing lenses made from FPL-53 glass and lanthanum glass. Combined with lanthanum glass, this results in superior color correction and reduced chromatic aberrations. The large illumination disc of this refractor makes it ideal for use with full-frame sensor cameras as well as APS-C matrix cameras, ensuring full coverage and excellent image results.
Temperature Compensation and Storage
To handle temperature variations, the Fluorostar refractors come with steel lens mounts. It is important to remove the lens hood and allow moisture to evaporate before storing the telescope in a dry environment at a stable room temperature to avoid corrosion.
