Description

The Delta Optical Titanium 65ED II is an exceptional telescope renowned for its compact design and impressive optical capabilities. With a 65 mm lens made of low dispersion glass, this telescope ensures accurate and vibrant color reproduction. Its 65 mm diameter makes it particularly suitable for daytime observations under optimal lighting conditions, providing magnification ranging from 15x to 45x.

This telescope holds immense appeal for bird watchers, enabling them to observe intricate details of planets such as the rings of Saturn, Jupiter's belts, and even craters on the moon. It truly represents a remarkable piece of portable equipment that can be conveniently carried anywhere.

Manufacturer's Description

The Delta Optical Titanium 65ED II telescope is an upgraded and modernized version based on valuable user feedback from the previous model. We greatly value the opinions of our users, and it is through their insights that we continually strive to deliver improved products.

The following are the detailed enhancements made to the Delta Optical Titanium 65ED II:

In terms of the mechanical system, we have introduced a new method for focus adjustment. The previous version's focusing knob, which was susceptible to mechanical damage, has been replaced with a specialized ring. Additionally, the optical system has been redesigned and modernized. Advanced anti-reflective coatings have been applied to all optical surfaces, ensuring enhanced performance under challenging lighting conditions and delivering more accurate color reproduction.

The new version of the telescope retains all the features of its predecessor, which we would like to highlight. The utilization of low-dispersion ED glass enabled the inclusion of a lens with an extremely short focal length. As a result, we have created a compact observation instrument measuring only 24 cm in length and weighing as much as an average pair of binoculars. The telescope comprises a 65 mm ED lens and a large, comfortable wide-angle zoom eyepiece, offering magnification ranging from 15x to 45x with an eyepiece field of view between 50 and 70 degrees. This eyepiece boasts an ample exit pupil distance, making it compatible with eyewear. The adjustable eyecup allows for convenient adjustment of the distance between the eye and the eyepiece. Moreover, the telescope features a retractable sun visor positioned on the lens.

The Titanium 65ED II comes with a tripod foot equipped with a standard photo thread, offering rotational capability for easy framing of images. The telescope also includes an optional photo adapter, allowing seamless connection to any SLR camera with a T-Ring. All these components are neatly enclosed in an elegant aluminum case, providing protection during transportation. As expected of reliable nature equipment, the telescope body is crafted from metal and finished with odorless, antiallergic rubber-gray tires. The body is fully waterproof, while the internal optical system is nitrogen-filled to prevent fogging. Furthermore, a soft cover for the stay-on type spotting scope is included in the set.

With its exceptional optical properties, compact size, and reasonable price, the Delta Optical Titanium 65ED II is an attractive proposition for nature enthusiasts and beyond. It also excels in astronomical observations. Thanks to its superb optics, planetary disks and Saturn's rings can be observed with ease. At a magnification of 45x, the telescope delivers a remarkably sharp image of the lunar disc, which dominates the field of view.
