With an overload resistance of up to 1000 G, the collimator's electronics remain unharmed. The IPX8 waterproof rating ensures the sight is fully submersible and capable of withstanding even the harshest weather conditions. Additionally, it operates flawlessly within a wide temperature range from -30°C to 60°C. To mount the collimator securely, the 1/3 Co-Witness skeletal mount is employed. When using the collimator, the aiming point is positioned 1/3 higher than the mechanical sights, aligning perfectly with the front sight.

Optics Protection and Enhanced Visibility

The Holosun AEMS incorporates lenses with multi-layer anti-reflective coatings, guaranteeing exceptional light transmission and a clear, parallax-free image. Transparent lens covers are included to shield the optics from potential damage while maintaining high light transmission. To further extend the battery life, the Holosun AEMS features a Solar Failsafe solar panel. This panel not only assists the battery's operation in bright light conditions, such as sunlight or artificial lighting but also automatically adjusts the aiming mark brightness. In case of a depleted battery, the solar panel acts as an emergency backup. Users have the option to choose automatic brightness adjustment or manually adjust the intensity, with eight settings available for daylight and four settings optimized for night vision.

Battery-Saving System with Motion Sensor

The Holosun AEMS incorporates the Shake Awake system, contributing to its exceptional 50,000-hour working time. This system intelligently turns off the LED after 10 minutes of inactivity, conserving battery power.
