Additionally, the Holosun Micro Red Dot HE509-RD Solar Powered collimator now includes the Lock Mode feature, which prevents accidental changes to the sight's settings by disabling the buttons after activation.

The body of the Holosun Micro Red Dot HE509-RD Solar Powered sight is constructed from lightweight and durable aluminum through precise milling techniques. It features enlarged rubberized buttons and a side-mounted tray that allows for field battery replacement without the need to disassemble the sight from the firearm. The sight is mounted on the pistol using a steel plate that adheres to the 507C standard. The enclosed structure provides enhanced resistance to mechanical damage and dirt.

What sets the ACSS Vulcan reticle apart from traditional red dot or circle dot sights?

The Holosun HE509-RD pistol collimator introduces the innovative ACSS Vulcan reticle system, which revolutionizes the aiming system for collimators. Instead of the standard red dot or circle dot, the ACSS Vulcan features a chevron (inverted V) reticle that enables quick target acquisition and precise shooting at extended distances. The chevron reticle is complemented by a large circle (which can be toggled off) that helps align the chevron precisely at the center of the target. In the event of losing the aiming point, the user will see a circle outline on the edges of the lens, facilitating instinctive corrections and realignment with the desired target. The ACSS Vulcan Reticle Sight provides a significant advantage over mechanical sights when engaging targets at high speed and long distances.

Reliable collimators for dynamic shooting with solar power supply by Holosun

The collimator is powered by a CR1632 battery, offering up to 20,000 hours of operation at brightness setting 6, as per the manufacturer's specifications. Additionally, the device incorporates the Solar Failsafe solar panel, which ensures continued functionality in bright lighting conditions such as sunlight or artificial light. This feature automatically adjusts the brightness of the reticle and acts as a backup in case the battery becomes depleted. Users can opt for automatic brightness adjustment or manually adjust the intensity with 10 daytime settings and 2 night vision settings.

The impressive 20,000-hour battery life is achieved through the implementation of the Shake Awake system. After 10 minutes of inactivity, the system automatically turns off the LED, putting the device into sleep mode. Reactivating the reticle is as simple as moving the firearm. Users can customize the sleep mode activation time according to their preferences. The sight also includes a memory mode that recalls the last used reticle and brightness level, as well as a low battery notification function indicated by a flashing reticle.

Important note: The Holosun HE509-RD with ACSS reticle does not share the same base as the 509T model (models without ACSS reticle), and therefore, it is not compatible with plates designed for the Holosun 509T model. The included 509c backplane is not compatible with ZEV or Shadow Systems style RMR interfaces.
