The Levenhuk 870T microscope is a highly dependable three-field microscope designed for both light and dark field observations. The microscope head is inclined at a 30-degree angle and offers a 360-degree rotation. With four planachromatic lenses mounted in the head turret, the Koehler lighting system, and adjustable aperture diaphragm and field, this microscope is perfect for professional-level observations.

The table, measuring 140 x 155 mm, can be moved in two axes, providing flexibility in positioning the samples. Focus adjustment is achieved by using the fine and coarse adjustment knobs to raise or lower the table, altering the distance between the sample and the objective lens. Both adjustment systems operate smoothly, with a rough adjustment range of 25 mm and a fine adjustment range of 0.002 mm.

The Levenhuk 870T features a 6 V / 20 W halogen lamp as the lighting source, mounted on the microscope's base. The brightness of the lamp can be easily adjusted to suit the user's requirements.

Dark Field Capability

The Levenhuk 870T binocular microscope is equipped with a dark field condenser, which can be utilized when the Abbe condenser is raised to its maximum height. The dark field microscope is particularly suitable for blood tests and other biological samples, offering higher contrast compared to bright field observations. By rotating the lighting ring to the right, users can switch to the dark field mode.
