Description
The Antlia LRGB-V Pro L is a comprehensive set of LRGB filters specifically designed for professional astrophotographers using monochrome cameras, including CCD and CMOS sensors.
Each filter in the set is meticulously crafted on a carefully selected 2 mm substrate, ensuring not only exceptional mechanical durability but also complete parafocal performance. Following the manufacturer's recommendation, it is advised to account for temperature fluctuations and check focus approximately once every hour or two. This guarantees optimal performance throughout your astrophotography sessions.
To achieve optimal transmission of crucial spectral lines essential for astrophotography, such as Hα, S II, and O III, the designers dedicated significant effort to precisely selecting the bandwidth and intervals between these lines. As a result, the R filter boasts an impressive 95 percent permeability for the Hα and S II lines. Additionally, the overlapping operation ranges of the B and G filters effectively double the recording efficiency for the O III line.
Remarkable optical efficiency is just one of the exceptional features of the Antlia LRGB-V Pro filters. By separating the G and R channels, these filters effectively block the prominent light pollution emitted by sodium lamps. Combined with the multi-layer anti-reflective coatings, this allows astrophotographers to capture vivid and high-contrast images even in proximity to large urban centers.
Please note that the Antlia LRGB-V Pro filters are not recommended for visual observations.
Key Features of the Antlia LRGB-V Pro Filter Set:
Professional astrophotography filters with equal weights for the R, G, and B channels, designed for CMOS and CCD sensors.
Advanced multi-layer anti-reflective coating that minimizes secondary glare and the halo effect.
High transmission rates for the Hα and S II bands (R filter) and O III (B and G filters).
Excellent ability to block light pollution emitted by sodium lamps.
