The SynScan EQ3 GoTo upgrade kit provides a comprehensive solution to transform the traditional SkyWatcher EQ3-2 equatorial mount into the Pro version, catering to both visual observations and astrophotography enthusiasts.
Stepper motors drive the declination and right ascension axes, ensuring precise movement. Heavy-duty gears transmit torque to the axles, ensuring stability and reliability. With all the necessary accessories included in the kit, installation is straightforward and intuitive.
The SynScan controller manages the entire system, with its software responsible for controlling periodic errors and reducing backlash. The controller boasts an extensive database containing information on over 42,000 celestial objects, including planets, stars, galaxies, and entries from the Messier, NGC, and IC catalogs.
Please note that the set only includes a power adapter with a cigarette lighter plug. You will need to purchase a suitable AC adapter separately.
