The Antlia CaK 3 nm Solar Filter 1.25" is a high-performance bandpass filter specifically engineered to capture the unique radiation emitted by ionized calcium atoms. It is an essential tool for astrophotographers aiming to acquire detailed images of solar phenomena such as sunspots and surface granulation.

This sophisticated filter is crafted using a multi-layer coating applied to a double-polished substrate made from optical glass that offers high-temperature resistance. Such construction guarantees superior performance for the Ca-K spectral line at 393 nm, with a remarkably narrow half-width of just 3 nm. This ensures that images captured using the Antlia CaK 3 nm filter have exceptional optical efficiency within its transmission band, while effectively blocking other spectral components with optical densities reaching OD3 and OD5 levels.

Please note: The Antlia CaK 3 nm 1.25" filter is designed for use with ultra-sensitive astronomical cameras and is not suitable for visual observations.
