What is a stage disk?

The Astrial company's scenic disk comprises a pair of disks - the primary disk featuring the central image, and the background disk establishing the primary environment, such as a horizon with elements like trees, mountains, or telescopes. When the rotation function of the Homestar planetarium is activated, the primary disk rotates while the background disk remains static. This provides an experience akin to reclining on a beach among palm trees, observing the sky as stars move across it while the palm trees remain fixed in place.
