Description

The Thermion Duo DXP marks a significant milestone in the evolution of Pulsar's hunting optics. It stands as the pioneering commercial riflescope to seamlessly blend the prowess of thermal imaging detection with the ease of full-color daytime observation. Through the harmonious integration of diverse technologies, observation with the Thermion Duo elevates the level of detailed information available to the user.

Day & Night Use:

For countless hunters, the Thermion Duo DXP emerges as the ultimate choice for an optical riflescope, regardless of the time of day or prevailing weather conditions. This thermal imaging riflescope, built upon the finest solutions and components from Pulsar's optical development, ensures adept handling of nocturnal hunting challenges. Whether in complete darkness, rain, or fog, the Thermion Duo DXP excels in locating game and revealing its trophy qualities. Its 4K resolution digital channel seamlessly reproduces the vibrant colors of daytime hunting.

4K Full-Color Sensor for Daytime Hunting:

The daytime digital channel of the Thermion Duo DXP offers crisp object rendering even at distances exceeding 10 meters. Utilizing this riflescope during daylight hours is effortless, as the lens requires no focusing. The 4K-resolution CMOS sensor delivers exceptional detail and object identification across all magnification ranges. Daytime hunting becomes both comfortable and cutting-edge with the Thermion Duo DXP, as it combines the classic full-color image of daytime optics with advanced digital functionality. Users can effortlessly record images, alter reticle patterns and colors, or connect the riflescope to a smartphone at any time.

High-Sensitivity Thermal Imaging Sensor:

Equipped with a high-sensitivity European-made sensor boasting <25 mK NETD, the Thermion Duo DXP captures even the slightest temperature differences in low-contrast conditions, rain, or fog. Its 640 x 480-pixel resolution ensures reliable target identification and high-quality visualization of important anatomical features and landscape details. The sensor's ample size provides the Thermion Duo DXP with a broad field of view for comfortable and informative observation of both static and dynamic scenes.

Fast Aperture F50/1.0 Thermal Lens:

The high-aperture F50/1.0 germanium lens fully exploits the potential of the high-sensitivity sensor in the thermal imaging channel. This combination ensures maximum detection efficiency for the hunter in all weather conditions, at any time of day.

Advanced Image Processing:

The Thermion Duo employs modern algorithms to achieve a new standard of image detailing, clarity, and contrast. The thermal imaging channel, utilizing a wide range of halftones, excels at rendering complex scenes with uniformly emitting low-contrast objects such as the sky, grass, or water surfaces. Enhanced detail and software sharpening of objects at various distances yield a highly informative thermal image. Manual adjustment of thermal imaging sensor sensitivity allows users to enhance animal detection quality in deteriorating observation conditions. A smoothing filter, along with brightness and contrast settings, ensures comfort during prolonged observation periods. The daytime channel delivers ideal image perception in both sunny and cloudy conditions.

Combined Multispectral Viewing Modes:

The Thermion Duo supports four observation modes, catering to various hunting scenarios. The digital image mode serves daytime hunting, while the thermal imaging mode is tailored for nocturnal conditions and serves as an auxiliary aid in challenging daytime conditions such as fog or dense clouds. The "Picture-in-Picture" function enables simultaneous display of images from both optical channels, with the option to prioritize either the thermal or digital image.

Automatic Transition to Low-Light Mode:

As ambient light levels decrease, the daylight sensor of the Thermion Duo seamlessly transitions to black and white mode. This transition maintains low noise levels, clarity, and high definition of the digital image in the evening until sunset.

User Mode:

Users can maximize image detail and informativeness in specific observation conditions by adjusting brightness and contrast. The User Mode function saves selected settings in the device's memory, ensuring optimal image quality for subsequent thermal imaging sessions without the need for additional adjustments.

One-Shot Freeze Zeroing:

A single cartridge and the Freeze software function allow users to zero in both optical channels at a chosen distance. After the ranging shot, the riflescope captures a photo of the target, aligning the thermal imaging and digital channel reticles at the bullet's point of impact. The Thermion Duo DXP can be zeroed using either the base magnification or zoom, with the click value decreasing proportionally to the zoom, ensuring stability across the full magnification range.

Clear-On-Target Precision:

The "Picture-in-Picture" function enables high-precision aiming by displaying a magnified image of the target and reticle, occupying only 10% of the total display area. This feature allows users to maintain visual control of the entire field of view while focusing on the aiming area. Additionally, images from different channels can be combined on a single display, allowing for versatile observation capabilities.
