The Axion 2 thermal imaging devices employ a novel strategy for image enhancement tailored to the specific requirements and circumstances of observation, delivering superior rendering of both target subjects and background scenery. By offering three levels of signal amplification alongside a linked smoothing filter and precise adjustments to brightness and contrast, hunters gain extensive capabilities for detecting animals over long distances in varying weather and temperature conditions, while also assessing their trophy potential.

Rugged magnesium alloy construction for premium durability

Engineered for consistent and demanding use, the Axion features a lightweight yet robust magnesium alloy housing. This housing provides reliable protection for the internal components of the thermal imaging device against impacts, falls, moisture, as well as extreme temperatures. Furthermore, the metallic housing efficiently dissipates heat from the electronics, minimizing image noise and ensuring the device operates consistently during prolonged observations.

Extended battery lifespan of up to 11 hours on a single charge

Equipped with a high-capacity APS5 rechargeable battery, the Axion delivers up to 11 hours of uninterrupted operation on a single charge. The battery can be swiftly replaced within seconds, and recharged using a dedicated charger or within the device itself via USB-C, utilizing a PC, household power system, or power bank. These same sources can also serve for external power supply to the thermal imaging device.

Dual-band Wi-Fi support for enhanced connectivity

In Axion 2 thermal imagers, the conventional smartphone connection frequency range via a 2.4 GHz WiFi channel is complemented by an efficient 5 GHz range. The 5 GHz connection offers superior bandwidth, faster data transfer rates, noise immunity, and improved connection stability, resulting in more productive and seamless operation of the thermal imager with a smartphone.

Swift aperture lens for superior clarity

Featuring a Germanium F35/1.0 lens renowned for high infrared transmission in the LWIR range, the Axion 2 delivers crisp and detailed images thanks to the precise manufacturing of its optical elements.

Long-range laser rangefinder for accurate distance measurement

Recognizing the importance of assessing target distance accurately, the Axion 2 incorporates a built-in laser rangefinder with a range of up to 1 kilometer. This enables precise distance measurements in single or continuous scanning modes with an accuracy of ±1 meter, facilitating quick and error-free situational assessments.

European-manufactured Lynred sensors for exceptional performance

The Axion 2 thermal monoculars are outfitted with European-made Lynred sensors featuring resolutions of 384x288 pixels (pixel size 17 µm) or 640x480 pixels (pixel size 12 µm). These sensors effectively capture useful signals even under challenging observation conditions such as rain, fog, and high atmospheric humidity.

Integrated photo and video recorder with complimentary cloud storage

The Axion 2 comes with a built-in video recorder, allowing users to store hours of video and tens of thousands of photos. With just a touch of a button, users can capture captivating scenes or start recording video. The captured footage can be easily transferred to a computer via a USB-C port. Additionally, Axion 2 owners are provided with complimentary 16 GB of cloud storage on the Pulsar cloud platform for storing photos and videos captured with the device, accessible via the Stream Vision 2 mobile application.

User mode for optimized image quality

The User Mode function enables users to save selected brightness and contrast settings in the device's memory, ensuring optimal image quality for subsequent use of the thermal imager without requiring additional adjustments.

Detection range of up to 1750 meters

With a powerful F35/1.0 objective lens and highly sensitive thermal imaging sensors, the Axion 2 delivers exceptional detection capabilities, enabling the detection of standard 1.8-meter tall objects at distances of up to 1750 meters even in complete darkness.

Remote operation and firmware updates via smartphone

The built-in WiFi connectivity allows the Axion 2 to connect to Android and iOS smartphones via the Stream Vision 2 mobile application, facilitating wireless software updates and real-time image transmission from the device to the smartphone screen. Additionally, users can share photo and video content captured by the device on social media platforms or messengers, remotely control digital device functions, and access the latest news from Pulsar. Registered users also receive 16 GB of cloud storage for photos and videos recorded with the device.

Variable magnification for enhanced focus

The digital zoom feature provides improved focus and enhanced object recognition at significant distances, with the zoom adjusting gradually in 2x steps or continuously for a truly optimized, customized field of view tailored to specific situations.

With its pocket-sized design and weight of only 350 grams, the Axion 2 LRF is compact and easy to handle, catering to both right-handed and left-handed users due to its symmetrical design and in-line button arrangement on the upper panel.

The Axion 2 boasts a rapid start-up time, becoming fully functional within 5 seconds of pressing the ON button. This quick start-up capability helps conserve battery power, allowing users to turn on the device only when needed during hunting expeditions.

IPX7 waterproof rating for added protection

Rated IPX7 waterproof, the Axion 2 is designed to withstand heavy rainfall, snow, or other forms of precipitation. The unit remains operational even after submersion in water up to 1 meter deep for up to 30 minutes.

Selection of 8 color palettes for versatile observation

Users can choose from 8 color palettes to observe their field of view more effectively, optimizing the unit for specific tasks and adapting to changing observation conditions. Palettes like White Hot, Black Hot, and Red Hot are ideal for object detection, while Rainbow and Ultramarine enhance recognition and identification chances. Red Monochrome, Sepia, and Violet are most suitable for prolonged night observation.
