Description
The ZWO PE160 is a specialized pier extension designed to elongate the ZWO AM5 assembly. It's particularly useful for astrophotography setups where the length of the optical tube or the positioning of the counterweight arm might lead to potential collisions between the AM5 mount and the tripod.
Constructed from aviation-grade aluminum alloy, the PE160 extension achieves a remarkable balance between lightweight design and robust load-bearing capabilities, capable of supporting up to 13 kg. However, it's advisable to adhere to the manufacturer's recommendation of using the extension for optical setups weighing no more than 10 kg.
Important Note: The PE160 extension is not modular and cannot be combined with the PE70 extension.
